First off, who are the Cali Untouchables?
well cali untouchable dj's, a dj crew and a movement for the westcoast based out of california..westcoast mixtape kings ya heard !

How did you and DJ Strong meet?
I think strong called me or I called him out of nowhere basically to join my record pool I used to own .. I was just looking for more dj's for my record pool, It had to be like back in 1999

When and why did the Cali Untouchables form?
It was formed back in 2001 really, the reason why we all came together is to really have a good team of dj's that hustle and help out artist from different places and of course westcoast artists the most, ya know.. also basically do something totally diffent than the other dj's or dj crews out here.. and make an impact in the streets ya know..

What makes you L.A.'s "Mixtape King?"
Well, I put out the most mixtapes from L.a. in the last 3 years almost going on 4 years. My mixtapes are different and I have various series of mixtapes for different reasons, and the way I flood my mixtapes , I don't think anybody's ever done that in the history of mixtapes, I rep L.A. to the fullest and get it out to places that a lot of these artist out here don't get no exposures ya know..I tried to help as many cats I can, not here to satisfy everybody's soul , it's not possible, I'm only human, not god ya know.. so I do the best I can.. and trying to make it better..
What are your goals with making mixtapes?

How many mixtapes have you made so far?
That I don't know exactly, but as far as some of the mixtapes that made an impact and got it out a lot places , that would be problably , around, close to 30 mixtapes, I mean these are solid mixtapes. ya know..

What, in your opinion, has been your best mixtape?
I would say it's more than just one u know, well, my outlaw warrriorz , ill street dues, cali untouchable radio, serious are the best to me..

What's the L.A. Hip Hop scene like?
L.a. hiphop scene, is different yo.. I mean you have your underground cats u know, then u have your commercial hip hop and gangsta rap. so, it all depends what u are into u know..

Who's hot out there?
There are a lot cats that are hot out here, some cats don't know how to get themselves out there, but as far as cats doing some damage right in the streets, cats like the dynamic certifed,scipio,relativez , tri-state, sly boogie,planet asia,dirty rat, strong arm steady,2mex, filthy immigrants,Lil e,then you have your big artists like snoop, kurupt,jayo felony, u know cats like that yo..

You did a mixtape with Clinton Sparks and Da Riffs, why did you want to work with them?
well me and clinton spoke bout doing a mixtape, it's just timing yo, plus he's hot in the east, i'm good out here, so it's good thing to do collabo like that, I help him get more exposure out here and he does the same for me,

Why should people watch out for Scipio?
Well scipio is a good act.. and he can spit. and he has good personality yo, I think the minute he gets with the right team and producers, it's a wrap for him,

What new artists do you think are next to blow?
well for the west you got cats like scipio,dynamic certifed, strong arm steady, balance, the team, frontline,plantet asia,mark spitz,sly boogie, diry rat,berreta,damani, then for the east like, saigon a lot,

What does it take for a new artist to get on your mixtapes?
well, many ways, sometimes u hear bout cats and u see potential on them and u put them on,then u got cats that come to me, if i like their music I put them on yo.., sometimes u can't put everybody on your mixtapes, sometimes some of these cats don't come at u right, it's about relationship with people, your personality and how u approach people can get u one step further in life yo..

What DJ's do you want to work with in the future?
Whoever's hot and cool peeps ya know, I can't really say no names dogg..

What's coming up for the Cali Untouchables?
well for december, it's a wrap, we got the dow jones & xzbit , dj strong & chops (odb tape),then me and hideo just put the the crooked i mixtape, but for jan. we got cali untouchable radio pt.5 and 6, then westcoast mixtape kings series,ill street dues pt.3 w/ talib kweli, what else, oh a y.a. and roscoe mixtape plust whole bunch of other stuff.. just check out www.caliuntouchabledjs.com for more info or www.hiphopwest.com thanks..
