Drag
On - Hell And Back
First off,
let's get something straight. Drag On is not a wack MC. He's not the
greatest, but this album doesn't show everything I think he's capable
of.
The single "Put Your Drinks Down" was decent over the summer.
"U Had Me" features Eve and is one of the stronger tracks
of the album. "Feel My Pain" is nice. Swizz Beats has marketed
himself as such a big name that he gets "feature" credits
on tracks, and he did the track "Bang Bang Boom" which can
probably work in a party but that's where it ends. It honestly sounds
like a Lil Jon track.
"I'm a Ryder" features Baby and TQ, this has the potential
to be a decent single. Overall, Drag's not really sayin anything new
and you get your usual verses from Styles, Jada, DMX, and Eve. It's
nothing crazy, This isn't an album that's a must have because the production
is so-so and the rhymes are average.
