texas is really
blowing up now, where do you fit in the picture?
i'm trying to force
my way to the front, but it's hard because i don't rap like the niggas that's
getting signed out of texas right now. i'm getting in where i fit right now,
just paying my dues you know i'm on niggas' heels though
do you fuck
with the Screwed and Chopped music?
(laughing real
hard) not even a little bit. it used to be alright back in like '95 or so but
it's really not that big of a deal to me. It got old quick in my opinion niggas
love it though i just can't fuck wit it
you got a crazy
demo, how did you go about writing those track?
i do what the beat
say do. Like when i hear a beat if it inspires me, i try to figure out what
kind of story it's telling and then put it into words. i don't try to force
songs onto beats because it usually comes out wack when niggas do that
i use a more unique
formula than other cats.
how was it working
with fantom of the beats?
It was crazy. he's
like a workaholic like soon as his plane landed we went straight to work. He
was in the studio like five minutes before the first track was done. i like
that though i got no problem spending time in the yo (studio)
That's what i love.
He makes damn sure you're not putting wack shit on his beats he's right there
the whole time making sure you writting the very best shit you can, then he
directs you while you're in the booth making sure you delivering
That shit the best
way possible. it was crazy but i loved it i can't wait to work with him again.
big up fantom and the whole shadow gov't
who else have
you worked with?
That's really the
only known producer i've worked with i'm looking forward to working with a lot
