GUTTA INTERVIEW BY BRIAN KAYSER

first off, what's good?

you know chillin right now, i'm just happy to be here.

who is gutta and where does he come from?

Gutta is greatness in the making, the beginning of something special. oh and he from austin, tx 78724

who are your influences?

joe budden first and foremost, jay-z, and talib kweli are my influences. it's a few other cats i'm feeling right now too like a-team, stack bundles, papoose, and cassidy. cats that spit

texas is really blowing up now, where do you fit in the picture?

i'm trying to force my way to the front, but it's hard because i don't rap like the niggas that's getting signed out of texas right now. i'm getting in where i fit right now, just paying my dues you know i'm on niggas' heels though

do you fuck with the Screwed and Chopped music?

(laughing real hard) not even a little bit. it used to be alright back in like '95 or so but it's really not that big of a deal to me. It got old quick in my opinion niggas love it though i just can't fuck wit it

you got a crazy demo, how did you go about writing those track?

i do what the beat say do. Like when i hear a beat if it inspires me, i try to figure out what kind of story it's telling and then put it into words. i don't try to force songs onto beats because it usually comes out wack when niggas do that

i use a more unique formula than other cats.

how was it working with fantom of the beats?

It was crazy. he's like a workaholic like soon as his plane landed we went straight to work. He was in the studio like five minutes before the first track was done. i like that though i got no problem spending time in the yo (studio)

That's what i love. He makes damn sure you're not putting wack shit on his beats he's right there the whole time making sure you writting the very best shit you can, then he directs you while you're in the booth making sure you delivering

That shit the best way possible. it was crazy but i loved it i can't wait to work with him again. big up fantom and the whole shadow gov't

who else have you worked with?

That's really the only known producer i've worked with i'm looking forward to working with a lot more though. Igot a lot of hot production from cats in my city like my nigga y2jj from philliez beats(what's good my nigga), checkmate, dj odom, and blackmike

what projects have you released so far?

i got like four mixtapes under my belt with the cats on our label. i just finished my solo mixtape "return of the jedi" that's about to hit the streets. y"all should put it on hhg in the mixtape review section. we also dropping our fifth A.A.E. mixtape juneteenth massacre

what's coming up for you?

finishing up my album and trying to get my shit heard

what's the most important thing you've learned in the industry so far?

it's all about who you know and who they know. if you don't have the right connections then it doesn't matter how nice you spit if you don't know the right peeps.

why should we check for you?

because i'm gonna give you everything, i can cover all audiences whatever you're into i can give it to you.

what do you want people to take away from your music?

the understanding that it's me no gimmicks no marketing schemes it's who i am

wow can Heads reach out to you?

www.aboveallentertainment.biz, gutta_aae@yahoo.com , aae_ceo@tmail.com

shout outs: what up A.A.E. in the buildin, joe budden get at me my nigga lets burn down a few tracks ya heard!!, philliez beats, a-team, stack bundles, deezel and jimbo, everybody thats really spittin
