J Boogie ' Dubtronic Science'

J Boogie's been called "San Francisco's Best Radio and Club DJ" so its no surprise when his new album has a lot of hot tracks, as he ranges from hip hop beats to dubs. There is a nice variety of tracks on this album which shows J Boogie's versatility.

Fellow Om Records labelmates People Under the Stairs come through on "Movin to My Beat," Thes One rips the instrumental. This is my favorite track on the album, and this also shows how the slept-on People are so talented. Also be sure to check the Goapele (finally getting props in the new Urb) track, "Try Me."

It's not hard to appreciate the work J Boogie does for his instrumentals. This is the type of cd that's dope for whatever mood you're in and whatever you feel like listening too, because there's so many different beats and feelings on the album that there's something for everyone.
