Where
did you get your start as a producer in the game? Who was the first Artist you
worked with?
Eve, I was an engineer for her album Scorpion but unfortunately i got jerked
for that credit. But it did open a lot of doors. After that album i began engineering
for Jadakiss on his first album Kiss the Game Goodbye. Thats when i got my first
credit and first plaque.
How did you
end up linkin with D-Block?
Well one day Sheek asked me to sit down in a meeting with him and Supa Mario
and asked me if i would be interested in making my studio the home base for
D-Block. It first started out with Sheek and Jae Hood comin' there to record,
A while later Kiss started recording there alot. Its a real comfortable situation
at D-Block we are more than just a label we are a strong unit and family.
You had 2 tracks
on the Sheek album Walk With Me and Basically Engineered The whole album How
was that process like? It was a long journey, we spent like 2 years recording. We recorded like
60-70 songs and like 100 freestyles to help promote the album.
I also heard
youve been workin alot with Jae Hood, How's that coming along?
Me and hood have a real good chemistry, he knows how to knock out songs , he
is a real good songwriter and a very talented artist.
Word is you
are working with Styles for his new album? How is that coming out?
It's coming out real crazy. I did like six songs for it. Working with styles
is crazy, he's real easy to work with and is a natural. He doesn't even write
his rhymes on paper he just goes in the booth and shit comes out natural.
Wut's up with
you and D to tha R to the A to the O to the N aka DRAG-ON!!!? I heard he's back
in the booth workin on another album?
Yea right now it's in the begining process, all i know is that i'm hittin Drag-On
with some heavy ass street records with hard bass in them. Me and Drag are both
from the BX, he grew up with one of my artist Hot Waters.
Besides D-Block
and Ruff Ryders who else have you worked with?
Damn it's a long list... Remy Martin , i did some ill shit with her its called
"IM SO BX", Shells, Cash Money, Lil Jon, Comp, Bathgate, Wu- Tang,
Imfamous Mobb, John Doe from Timbaland's Beat Club, Cuban Link, AZ, And next
up is M.O.P and Busta.
What is Livesong
Gang?
Liveson gang is Trilogy, Hot Waters, Pete Powerz, Miracle and JDL. They are
all skilled artist and they are all from the Bronx. Miracle and JDL are r&b
acts , the rest are rap acts. We are a label/Family. We also got a dj by the
name of Young Mike, he is the first dj signed to Liveson Gang.
What can we
expect from Liveson in the future?
Basically a lot of Heat, i'm finishin up my indie album called Liveson Files,
My website and getting liveson gang established.
