Petey
Pablo - Still Writing in my Diary: 2nd Entry
Petey's
been on, became quiet for awhile, and now he's back. After making an
appearance on the blazing Renegade Foxxx single "Anything U Want"
and getting some help from Lil Jon, Petey quickly re-established himself
on the Hip Hop map.
"Freek-A-Leek" took the clubs and radio by storm with the
trademark Lil Jon beat. Petey and Jon hook up again on "U Don't
Want Dat." It doesn't sound any different than any other Lil Jon
track, but it's got the high energy that's carrying the dirty South
music now. The combination between Bubba Sparxx and Petey is dope on
"Get On Dis Motorcycle." "O It's On" featuring Young
Buck is a track that just doesn't pop off.I just wasn't feeling that
song. There are a lot of guest appearances on this album, and I'd like
to see more of Petey as a solo artist. This is a good album if you're
looking for some high-energy, head-busting beats with some intense,
in-your-face lyrics.
