The
Procussions - ...As Iron Sharpens Iron
Colorado
and Hip Hop don't really seem to go together. But that's something that
Stro the 89th Key and the rest of the Procussions are trying to bring
together. The production of this album is crazy. The instrumentals sound
so great that it sounds as if they're right behind you.
"The Beginning" and "Introducing" are two dope tracks
that get the album jumping. "WeGotta" has a crazy beat that
has them talking about making the most out of your situation. "Lights
Off" is a nice track with a dope rock feel. The funky bass carries
"Celebration," which has the MC's spitting some nice lines.
Stro's talent comes through on this album as he plays the guitar, piano,
trumpet, and drums. "Leave Her Alone," which was released
on wax as well as "All That It Takes," is a dope track about
female relationships that everyone can relate to.
The production on this album is crazy. That's the strongest part about
this. The lyrics are dope too, but the beats really pulled me in and
kept me listening. With this album, it's clear that The Procussions
are for real, and maybe Colorado's Hip Hop scene will get some more
exposure.
