DJ
Clinton Sparks, DJ Whoo Kid, Konkrete Kaos & Red Cafe - Henny & Haze
Damn, Tito got
half-ounce's of Haze for $200....where you be at man? Can we get a Rapmullet
discount? I remember being up in the weed spot back in the day, cat rolled up
to get his little dime sack and tried to pass us a $5 dollar bill, two $1's
and three McDonalds gift certificates talking bout "its just like money".
LOL shit was funny as hell. Fiends do some wild shit man. Back then it was 40's
and blunts; now it's all Henny and Haze.
On the really real
I only fucked with this CD because it got Konkrete Kaos and Clinton Sparks on
it. Whoo Kid been shaky lately. Might open the CD case and the shit is empty
kinda thing. Red Cafe sounds the best to me on some west coast music, that's
why the intro song pops off. That hook was weak as fuck though. "Napalm"
got to be one of the hardest freestyles so far this year on any mixtape. "Ni99as
like Melissa Ford ass/too soft". The joint is short and to the point, fuck
that. That dude Tito laced "Get Well Soon", he might've even out shined
Red on this joint. I fucks with all the versions of "Bling Bloaw"
but on part II what the fuck is "big booty girls feel sexy/ if you like
it/ rub on ya milkshake"? I'm not trying to be a smart ass but that shit
didn't rhyme and it doesn't sound fly. Gotta let that club shit come naturally,
sounds forced. "Get Em" and "Getting Some Head" is those
true mixtape joints. This the heart of the CD right here man. Tito does his
thing again on "Ima Ho"; he def on the come up right now. Tracks like
"Consignment" and "From Da K" shows that Red has what it
takes to hold down a quality album and can flip some versatility.
Gotta get that
red bull and mountain dew type buzz going man. Red Cafe, out of alot of MCs
in the east, has the potential to keep that balance in an album. What I mean
is he can keep the east coast/ mid west heads satisfied with joints like "Napalm"
and Get Em", the south with "Draped Up" and the west with the
intro and outro. No MC has really had the blance that Biggie had on "Life
After Death" but Red got the potential to do it. The streets are not a
problem for Red Cafe, that shit is locked. Only thing I see missing is hit records.
The shit that will get white chicks in Ohio to buy the album and let them shake
their ass in the club while remaining respectable to the cats on the corner.
