HollyHood Showstoppers consists of Gladiator narrator Johunter and rapper/super producer Artie Bills, Both were born and raised in the cultural Mecca of Harlem NYC. The HollyHood Showstoppers ascended from the streets to now legendary underground status after being featured on a plethora of mixtapes (Kay Slay, Ron G, Digga and P Cutta) and performances. What up fellas, tell us where the name HollyHood Showstoppers came and what is your team all about?
(Artie Bills) The name came from the group performing and other groups not wanting to go on stage after us.

(Johunter) When you mention a Showstopper it usually relates to the audience being captivated and left in awe. We pride ourselves on professionalism and being the best.

How did the whole Rollin Wit It movement begin and what have you guys done to carve your name in the stone of Hip Hop?
(AB) The movement began when we decided to take initiative and do things ourselves.

(JH) We create and develop our product internally from top to bottom. We are real businessmen with real talent and dedication. We understand the industry and the changes.

You guys really tore the house down at the King Of NY Hip Hop Challenge in July. Aside from your stage performance, which was real energetic and impacting, what are some things about the Showstoppers that set you all aside from other Hip Hop acts out here trying to make a name?
(AB) Our style, creativity and music in general. We make hits…and we don't sound like any other artists out there.

(JH) We have a real story and a unique vibe. We also have untouchable charisma and strong vision for the future…we have the formula!

What's your take on the state of the Music Industry today?
(AB) The industry is saturated with the same old stuff. It's all about the payola. The industry needs the Showstoppers and Rollin Wit It desperately. The focus needs to be more on talent.

(JH) The industry is flourishing economically, but is suffering creatively. Artists are created and developed into gimmicks and schemes. Rollin Wit It will initiate the "new" industry.

If y'all could change one thing about the game what would it be?
(JH) I would make A & R's and artists earn their keep by providing more foundation for what a hit really is. True essence.

(AB) I would change most program directors. It's the same songs, rotations, same group of people…obvious payola.

What's next on the plate for The Showstoppers and Rollin Wit it?
(JH) Hip hop supremacy and absolute power. We will change the perspective on Harlem, stardom and industry problems.

(AB) Take over the industry by saturating all markets. Also to produce, market, promote and distribute our music totally independently.
