Even though he was criticized by Oasis' Noel Gallagher, Jay-Z could work with the rocker in the future.
The Oasis star was one of many critics who insisted hip-hop had no place at the festival, stating, "It's wrong. Jay-Z's got no chance."
Jay-Z admits he was encouraged by the warm reception he received from fans: "Glastonbury was a historic event for me... I'm feeling the love.
"Any time you can come from where I come from... (and) come so far... to come overseas and have people embrace you the way I've been embraced thus far, it's just an amazing feeling."
Now Jay-Z insists he'd be open to a collaboration between the two.
He tells MTV, "I haven't spoken to him (but) I heard he was reaching out... I don't bear any grudge, it's all good."
As we reported a few days ago, Fila has chosen Nas to be the sole ambassador of the Fila Italia Footwear Collection.
More details about the partnership have surfaced:
Fila will incorporate Nas into the marketing campaign of the Fila Italia Collection that will be available at athletic specialty and trend accounts nationwide in July. Fila and Nas will collaborate on the design of an 80s era vintage footwear and apparel collection which will be released beginning with the Holiday 2008 season.
To coincide with the release of Nas' 10th album, "Untitled" set to hit stores July 15th, 2008, FILA created a print campaign featuring Nas and TV ads on BET nationwide.
Reflecting on his upbringing, Nas, the Queensbridge native spoke about his childhood and FILA's impact on his New York neighborhood. "My mother used to take care of us. She didn't want us to fall into the streets. She wanted us to be able to hold our heads high." Nas continued to say, "The first person that was close to me with a pair of Filas was my younger brother. I remember being scared for him. The sneakers were from a prestigious brand, a new brand to our neighborhood. Fila represented money, style and success. My best friend Will and I loved FILA. It represented prestige and everything that was cool to us. When Will passed, we buried him in a black FILA sweat suit, so doing a deal with them has a lot of significance for me."
By now you've probably noticed that Nas' "Untitled" album has leaked online (HHG stopped posting the latest leaks, we never offer the songs as downloads.)
"Untitled" is due in stores July 15.
DMX was arrested this morning (Wednesday) in Arizona on a bond violation as soon as he stepped off a plane arriving from Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He now faces several months in an Arizona jail while waiting for his next court date and possibly more jail time.
According to his lawyer, Murray Richman, "He was supposed to be in court today in Arizona, but he was picked up as soon as he arrived," Richman said. "The arrest was a result of him being arrested in Florida. That arrest violated the strict conditions of his $7,500 bond in Arizona, which stated that he could not be arrested while on bail."
X was arrested June 27 after he allegedly tried to buy drugs from an undercover officer. He was also busted on June 23, May 9 and May 7.
How ironic. Jay-Z has helped boost sales of Oasis' single 'Wonderwall' from 1995 with his performance at Glastonbury.
Jay-Z covered the track in response to Noel Gallagher's (member of Oasis) suggestion that hip-hop music was "wrong" for Glastonbury.
The hip-hop star came on stage at the festival performing a karaoke version of the 1995 single.
According to the BBC, the track's sales have increased 200% since Jay-Z's rendition on Saturday night.

Pharrell Williams is about to spend big bucks on new skin.
The producer is paying a firm to grow him replacement skin in a test tube, which they will then stitch over his old permanent markings.
He told MySpace.com: “It’s going to be pricey, but fuck it, it’s worth it. I got fire on my arms, I don’t need fire on my arms! I’m a grown man."
"There’s an institute called the Wake Forest Institute in North Carolina for Regenerative Skin Treatment. It’s basically like getting a skin graft, but you’re not taking skin from you [...] or legs – these guys actually grow the skin for you. First you have to give them a sample of your skin, which they then replicate. Once that’s been done, they sew it on – and it’s seamless.”
Once his new skin is ready, P. planning to have new body art.
He said: “When it is healed you can go get whatever tattoo you want.”
Walmart will launch an exclusive apparel line in the fall designed by rapper Master P and his son, fellow rapper Romeo, Walmart spokeswoman Linda Blakley said Monday.
